Ancient Rome, Pantheon and Vatican City: Rome an overall view
Ancient Rome, Pantheon and Vatican City: Rome an overall view
Probably it doesn’t exist on earth a museum as amazing as the Vatican Museums. You will admire Greek and Roman statues and objects but also Baroque and Renaissance arazzi together with frescoes and paintings, bas-relief and trompe l’Oeil. All of these displayed in long galleries richly decorated inside the Popes’ Palace. The Museum’s heart is the Sistine Chapel. After you will access Saint Peter’s Basilica, the biggest church in the world filled with artworks. When visiting Rome suddenly the past becomes our present. Once in the centre of ancient Rome you’ll discover the Colosseum. It will recount its functionality, the sharpness of the Romans’ engineers and the excitement of the public while admiring gladiators’ battles. Walking through the Forum, the heart of the Empire administrative and political power, you can have a real feeling of how live was in the ancient Rome. Afterwards we will go right to the top of the Palatine hill where the Roman emperors lived. From there the view is breathtaking.

We requested 3 tours for our family of 7. We specifically wanted something that was intimate and designed for just us- to have a personal experience where we would be submerged in the Roman culture and history, while at the same time having an open dialogue with the tour person. All our tours were amazing and the experience was top notch. I feel that we learned so much more having these personal tours than we would have using a large group tour company. One member of our family had some limited physical abilities and both tour guides were very accommodating. The experience will never be forgotten! Emanuele was extremely easy to work with on our bookings. He was very responsive, professional and just downright a joy to work with all around! Crazy4Rome exceeded all expectations!
We had 2 days of touring with Crazy4rome in May. It was outstanding in every way. Easy access to the sites and the tour guide was knowledgable and fun. I would highly recommend them for any excursion!
