Legend says Saint Peter himself was held in this suffocating pit, where a miraculous spring appeared for him to baptize his jailers. Descending into its cold, narrow chambers is a haunting, unforgettable contrast to the grandeur above.
Walking through the Forum, once the heart of imperial power, you’ll truly feel how life unfolded in ancient Rome. We’ll then climb the Palatine Hill, home to the emperors, where the breathtaking view will leave you astonished once more by Rome’s timeless beauty.
