On this tour we will be exploring the two main poles of Florence religious and civic, respectively with its Duomo complex (Cathedral, Brunelleschi’s dome, Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower, outside) and Piazza della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi Courtyard, Loggia dei Lanzi an open air anthology of sculptures) .
A visit to the central food market (closed on Sundays) with its 19th century architecture will provide an insight into the local food culture and products. A view from the banks of its river Arno will unfold the beauty of its bridges including that of the Ponte Vecchio.
